I live in Atlanta with my husband, Matt, our kiddos, Jackson and Gemma, and our 2 fur babies, Scout and Boo (yes, like the book!).
I’m a Libra, an Enneagram 3w2 (that’s code for overachiever…I’m working on it), an INTJ, a Questioner, a Generator, an outgoing introvert, a bookworm, information addict, sushi fiend, animal lover, and an entrepreneur down to my bones.

About Kate Kordsmeier
Bio, third-person version: because it’s less “look at me” and more “look at her!”
Kate officially began her entrepreneurial journey at 16, winning the Young Georgia Author’s award for a poem published in her high school’s literary magazine. Unofficially, she's been bossing people around since she could talk. And now she's got over a decade of experience reshaping the landscape of female entrepreneurship.
After nailing two summa cum laude degrees from the University of Georgia’s prestigious Grady College of Journalism—a top 10 J-school—Kate jumped into the journalism jungle with bylines in every cool publication you’ve leafed through in a doctor’s waiting room, including USA Today, The Washington Post, Travel + Leisure, Esquire, Women’s Health, Yahoo!, SELF, and Real Simple (literally over 125 mags and counting). Yes, recovering perfectionist is her middle name.
When she was a food writer (ya know, everyone's dream job!), she also published the beloved cookbook “Atlanta Chef’s Table: Extraordinary Recipes from the Big Peach,” and served as the Culinary Expert for the State of Georgia, with features on CNN. Kate launched her first blog, Root + Revel, in 2015 and grew it to 250,000 page views per month, before she sold it for multiple six-figures in 2021. Forbes even wrote about her success here.
Kate is certified as an ICF-accredited Life and Success Coach from the Quantum Coaching Academy, with additional certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), and the TIME Technique, adding just the right amount of woo-woo to her OCD, Type-A spreadsheet brain. Mainstream is overrated.
To date, she’s empowered over 1,200 clients, raked in more than $2.5 million, and did it all working less than 20 hours a week—because, you know, kids and cats. Quit social media? Check. Still killing it? Double-check.

While we work hard, we strive to always work smarter, to do less in order to achieve more. “The more we relax, the more money we make,” is our motto. Followed by “How can we let this be easy?” When in doubt, do less and keep it simple. After we’ve worked hard, we rest just as hard. We build naps and nature walks and snuggles with our kids/fur babies into our work day. We make time for physical, emotional and spiritual healing, with chiropractic, acupuncture, counseling, meditation, journaling, prayer, movement, and embodiment practices. We are healers, leading by example.
