Welcome to the Success With Soul podcast! Today’s episode comes from a training catered inside the Incubator on what you need to start your business … and it’s probably not what you think. It’s common to feel that you need to have everything in place before you start. Guess what? It’s just not true. So if you’re committed to make 2023 the year you start your entrepreneurial journey, then this episode is for you. Inside this free training, Kate is going to show you what you REALLY need to get started, and how to set your mindset to success — so you can finally take the leap this year.
Table of Contents
I am a big planner and organizer. It’s totally my jam.
And there are healthy and beautiful aspects to this passion, for sure.
But here’s something I notice in the entrepreneurial world, where a lot of us are driven, high-achieving planners: we get paralyzed sometimes by our intense need to be super-duper prepared for everything.
When it comes to starting a business, there are a couple of huge myths that people buy into.
First, they often believe that they have to have a bunch of fancy and complicated stuff in order before they can get going …
… and I’m here to tell you: that’s a lie.
To start making your offer and earning money, you don’t need:
Second, they often believe in the One Right Way Myth. This is the thought error that if you don’t choose the exact right price, the right offer, the right target market, or the right niche or container or length, that it just won’t work.
I’ve said it before: logistical things like pricing and niche are important to hone over time as you grow and evolve your business — but they’re not the reason people buy or don’t buy, and there’s no one right way to do these things. People buy because they want the result … and the right way to design your offer is whatever works for you. And often that takes a few tries to figure out (more on that below).
If you’ve been sitting on a great business idea for a while, and you can’t get going because you don’t have exactly what you need to start a business — or what you think you need — this free training is just for you.
If you’re feeling frustrated that you haven’t made any money yet, I’d like to challenge your thought about what you need before you can start making offers.
Two questions to ask yourself as you go through this free training: What if it could be easy? And How easy can it really be?
So if you don’t need all the complicated tech stuff in order, and you don’t need thousands of followers … what do you need to start a business?
A way to help someone in exchange for payment.
That’s it.
Websites are awesome — I love helping clients create beautiful, functional sites that serve their businesses — but to get your first client, you don’t even need a website. You don’t need to know what your niche is, you don’t need anything except a way to help someone in exchange for payment.
So you could literally just meet somebody on the subway, tell them what you do, offer to help them, and you have what you need to start business. This is a totally legit way make your first dollar (or multiple dollars).
Stacy Boehman has this concept that she calls the Belief Triad, and it’s really important to for understanding why people buy and what you need to start selling.
It’s a belief in three things:
If you don’t believe in yourself, of course, that’s going to be really hard to sell to somebody else. If you don’t believe that your product is really transformative, that’s going to be hard to sell. And the last one people tend to kind of skip over is asking yourself if you believe that your client can also get this result that you’re offering.
This last one will involve asking yourself if you have any judgment around the type of person that is able to get this result. Because your belief in your clients is also going to help you make more sales!
There are so many ways that you can strengthen your mindset for success, but in this free training, I want to address a few key mental habits that can help you stop procrastinating and finally get going.
There are 6 core ways that we invite a mindset for success, and I categorize them with these 6 words that all start with A, to make them easier to remember. Then below, I’ll offer specific and more detailed examples of what this can look like your daily thought life.
Adjust Your Energy (allowing vs forcing, receiving vs. convincing, feminine vs masculine)
Assess (What are your thoughts and feelings around sales? Are they helpful and true thoughts? Do you want to keep believing them?)
Appreciate (What we focus on, we create more of — and gratitude is a HUGE amplifier of abundance)
Accept (What we resist, persists)
Abundance (Believing and trusting that it actually can come and that it actually can be easy)
Allow (Let them come to you)
Attend (Serve relationally, rather than transactionally)
Like it or not, it is literally the only way to ever find the right decision. You will not come to the right decision by not making some wrong decisions. If you’re too afraid to make the wrong decision, you will never make any decision, and you’ll stay stay stuck in that treadmill of inaction. Don’t do it! Fail boldly and learn wisely.
This just becomes a simple but powerful thought exercise to get you in the right frame of mind.
One of the questions I like to ask myself when I’m getting stuck is something like, If I were already making $10,000 a month, if I already had 100 clients, how would I show up?
In other words: Who would I be? What decisions would I make? Which one of these offers would I pick? What would I try if I knew there were 1,000 ready people waiting for me specifically to release this specific thing, and operate from that place?
It doesn’t have to be true yet. But when you operate from there, it can really change everything, because it opens you to flow and abundance. And then you’re not coming from this place of making a decision out of scarcity, but rather out of a sense of honor to your badass future self.
It’s so easy in our patriarchal culture to get in masculine energy. In that space, we often feel we need to force things to happen, to convince people that they want your offering, instead of allowing people to come to you and receiving the abundance.
Think of dentists: they provide a particular service that solves specific problems. When people have those problems, they book an appointment. A dentist doesn’t have to convince you to fix a broken tooth or tend to a cavity. When you have that problem, you seek out the dentist’s help.
A lot of entrepreneurs are offering amazing, transformative help for people’s real-life problems — but they operate as if they have to be constantly out there convincing and recruiting. When you adjust your mindset and see yourself more like a dentist, there’s a lot of room to allow people to seek you out, and to have the confidence in the value of what you offer to let them.
You might be amazed at what can shift when you tap into the kind of energy that feels right and aligned for you … and just trust it.
This can be a really tough one, especially for us planners! But lightening up a little can go a long way to preserving our mental health … and it actually allows us to be open to unexpected outcomes that might very well be for our highest good.
So you make a plan. You do the thing, whatever that is. And you remember that it’s all going to be ok. Whatever happens, you have everything you need. And it’s going to work out.
When things are busy, the temptation can be to sacrifice rest to “get things done.” Don’t do it!
Find ways to prioritize your mental health, your physical wellbeing, your sacred time with those you love. When you keep in your mind that you’re worth taking care of, you’ll generate better results and be way happier doing it.
And speaking of taking amazing care of yourself this year as you’re starting your business …
In just a few weeks, we’re introducing a new way to take great care of yourself in 2023.

Thanks so much for listening in this week! If you enjoyed this episode, here are some ways you can join our Success with Soul movement:
It’s shockingly simple — and it’s not the perfect website, offer, sales page, or number of followers. The one thing you need to start a business is a way to help someone in exchange for payment. That’s it!
Stacy Boehman has this concept that she calls the Belief Triad, and it’s really important for understanding why people buy and what you need to start selling.
It’s a belief in three things: yourself, your product or your offer, and your client.
The thing I tell women over and over again is to keep your rest and self-care as sacred. Take time to take care of yourself, no matter what. When things are extra busy, don’t give into the temptation to stop looking out for yourself. When you treat your mind, body, and relationships with the reverence they deserve, you’ll find that success comes a lot easier, and you’ll have a hell of a lot more fun getting there.

Welcome to the Success with Soul podcast. This is Indira with Team KK. today's episode comes from a training catered inside the incubator on the mindset you need to start, it's common to feel that you need to have everything in place all your ducks in a row, perfect website, the perfect offer the perfect sales page, your Instagram feed number of followers, email subscribers excetera before you can start and guess what? None of that is true. So if you've committed to make 2023 the year you start your entrepreneurial journey, then this episode is for you. I'm so excited to dive in.
Intro 0:45
You're listening to the Success with Soul podcast with Kate Kordsmeier ex-journalist turned CEO of a multi six figure blog and online business. But it wasn't that long ago that Kate was a struggling entrepreneur who lacked confidence, clarity, and let's be honest money. But all those failures, experiments and lessons learned helped Kate create a thriving business that impacts 1000s and brings freedom, flexibility and fulfillment to her life. If you're ready to do the same and make something happen with holistic, soulful, step by step strategies from Kate and other experts, you're in the right place. Here's your host, writer, educator, mom, recovering perfectionist, bookworm, and sushi connoisseur, Kate Kordsmeier.
Kate Kordsmeier 1:34
So one of the things I want to talk about here is how it is super common. To feel like you need to have everything in place and all your ducks in a row, a perfect website, the perfect offer the perfect sales page, the perfect amount of Instagram followers, and email subscribers and all the things in place before you can start. And it truly is a lie. It is a thought error. So here's what you really need to start making money right away a way to help someone in exchange for payment. That's it. So to get your first client, you don't even need a website, you don't need to know what your niche is, you don't need anything except a way to help someone in exchange for payment. So you could literally just meet somebody on the subway, tell them what you do offer to help them and make your first dollar or multiple dollars. So I think we feel like it has to be fancy and complicated, especially when we get in the comparison thought error of like seeing what other way more established people are doing. And feeling like oh, well, I have to do that to get started to. And it certainly can be very fancy and complicated. But if you're feeling frustrated that you haven't made any money yet, I'd like to challenge your thought about what you need before you can start making offers. So I want to think about what if it could be easy? And asking yourself, how easy Can it really be. So when we're gonna get into a bunch of different ways to make money and start making offers. And when you're thinking about maybe this is the one I should do, think about how easy can it be to do this and remove all the bells and whistles, and all of the foundational things that you think you need to have before you can get started. So there's also a myth related to this, that there is one right way. And if you don't choose the exact right price, the right offer, or the right target market or the right niche or container or length, that it just won't work. But that is not why people buy people didn't buy the six figure blog Academy because it was priced at 1597. People buy because they want the result. So this goes for you too, even if you already have an offer. And this is something that comes up all the time. So let's say you sell an online course, and it's not selling the way you want it to. And so you likely jump to the conclusion that the price is too high. But then you lower the price, and people still don't buy because it was never about the price. It was about conveying the value of the offer and helping your client believe that a it's possible for them to get the transformation, that they are worthy and capable of the transformation, and that you are the one to help them get there. So if people aren't buying a promise you it's not because the price isn't right, or the offer isn't right, or the target market or the niche or the length of the offer or whatever. None of those things matter. They're all just logistics. So how do you get your first client to believe you are an expert? First is you have to tell them that you are an expert. Nobody else is going to tell them for you, especially when you're first getting started. And when you tell them you have to actually believe it yourself first. So if anybody listened to the podcast episode last week, it was a new episode with Amy Porterfield. We talked about being a product of your product, and had a couple of examples of people who want to start and create an online course or startup program or coach people on how to do something that they have not yet done themselves. And so that can be really difficult because it, it messes with your own belief that it's possible that it's possible for you that it's possible for somebody else, it cuts into your credibility. So you have to believe it first yourself, and you have to be your first client, a product of your product, living proof of what's possible. And the example that we talked about here, you've probably heard the 10% edge before. And that's you don't have to be the foremost expert or the number one, whatever, you just have to be 10 steps ahead of the person you're trying to help. So the example from the podcast that I thought was so good, is Amy had a client who was like, not a fitness person at all, and ended up running a marathon. And so people were asking her like, Wait, how did you do this. And so she created a course about how to go from like zero to marathon. Now, she didn't have to win the marathon in order to teach this course, she didn't have to be an Olympic level marathon running athlete, right? Like, she just had to have done the thing that somebody else wants to do. So if you're wondering what your thing is, I highly recommend completing the impostor syndrome workbook, especially number five, I'm just going to pull it up here real quick. But thinking about what things you find easy that other people find difficult, what experiences that you have that could help somebody else do you have any education or training that you've undergone? That could be relevant? Just thinking about what challenges have you overcome? What is something that you've done that somebody in your life said, How did you do that? We all have a million things like that. So what is your 10% edge, and completing that impostor syndrome workbook will be really helpful just to get you out of those not good enough thoughts and the imposter, a thoughts fraud thoughts, as you go into this as well. So Stacy Vaman, has this concept that she calls the belief triad, and this is something else that I wanted to share, because I think it's really important to for why people buy and what you need to start selling. And really, it's a belief in three things. It's a belief in yourself, it's a belief and your product, or your offer, and it's a belief and your client. So if you don't believe in yourself, of course, that's going to be really hard to sell to somebody else. If you don't believe that your product is really valuable is really, you know, transformative, that's going to be hard to sell. And then the last one, I think that people kind of skip over sometimes it's like, Do you believe that your client can also get this result? Do you have any judgment around like the type of person that only one type of person is able to get this result? Or if you are on a sales call with somebody or texting or emailing back and forth with somebody? Do you really believe in them too, because your belief in your clients is also going to help you make more sales, and be help them actually get the results? So if you're struggling with any of the beliefs, I'd like you to ask yourself, like, what are the beliefs you want someone to have about you as a coach or consultant? What do you want people to think about you? And how true is that to reality? So if you want somebody to think that somebody give me an example, just had a complete brain fart, what is something that you want people to believe about you as a coach or a consultant? Go ahead, Katie, that I
Katie 8:58
have been through the transformation that I know that they can go through. Mm hmm. Yeah, I
Kate Kordsmeier 9:04
want people to believe about me. Yeah, exactly. Bronte says similar thing. I can help them. Okay. So if you want people to believe you can help them that you've gotten the transformation for yourself, you can help them get the transformation as well. Is that true? And if it's not true, and you want them to believe something, like, what do you need to do in order to make that true, but more than likely, it is true, and you need to give yourself permission to believe great things about yourself. And especially as women all too often, we only believe the worst about ourselves because our dicks are real dicks. Okay, I'm just looking at the chat to that I helped them unlock something they were struggling with. I can help them find dream clients. I can have a sense of humor about what I do, but I definitely know what I'm doing. Yeah, love all of these. Okay, so some other mindset shifts to make The first one is to stop being afraid of making the wrong decision. It is literally the only way to ever find the right decision, you will not come to the right decision by not making some wrong decisions. It's like the likelihood of marrying your first kiss, right? Like, it's just, it's not that it never happens. But it's very unlikely you gotta go through a bunch of people before you figure out this is the right one. And here's what I like. And here's what I don't like. And here's what works. And here's what doesn't work. And if you're too afraid to make the wrong decision, you will never make any decision, you'll stay in that action line of inaction. And the result that you want will literally never happen. So remember, especially as we start getting into some of the ideas about how you can start making money today, I want you to remember that your first 10 Ideas are probably going to suck. And it's okay to still move forward with them anyway, like literally not just move forward with them, like, Oh, I'm gonna keep thinking about other ideas. Like literally pick one of the 10 ideas and move forward with it. Even if you're like, I don't know if this is going to be great, who cares? It may be great, it may not be great, you'll never know until you do it. And you'll never get to the thing that is great, until you get to the first thing. So there's no right offer to start with. And a good way to do this is to focus on who you need to be not how you're going to do it, then we usually jump straight into life. But how am I going to make this happen? How am I going to write the sales pitch? How am I going to word this? How am I going to get people on sales calls and you worry about all the how, how am I going to create the portal for this. But if you focus on who you need to be, the rest sorts itself out. So one of the questions I like to ask myself when I'm getting stuck up into how is if I were already making $10,000 a month, if I already had 100 clients, how would I show up? Who would I be? What decisions would I make? Which one of these offers? Would you try if you knew there were 1000 Ready people waiting for you specifically to release this specific thing, and operate from that place? It doesn't have to be true yet. But when you operate from there, it can really change everything. And then you're not coming from this place of making a decision out of scarcity, or lack or fear or something like that. It's like if this were already true, what would I do? So if it were already true that you had 1000 clients, would you lower the price of your course, probably not. So thinking of things like that, even if you have already launched an offer. And some of the offers that we're going to be going over today are things to get you started. But they're also things you can do if you've already started, there are things you can do with your current offer, there's things you can add to complement your current offer. So it's really all stages. So I like to try on this mantra and hope you will to my ideal client is out there, they are ready for change. Now, they can pay, they want to pay me to help them whatever you do, right now. They're already on their way to me, the money is already in my bank account. It's already mine. And so it is. So think about that, that mantra if you need to come back to it. As you're deciding which offer you want to choose for this bootcamp come back to that. Also adjusting your energy. So like we mentioned before, like sales is all about energy. And I think it's so easy in our patriarchal culture to get in masculine energy. And in that, like I need to force things to happen, I need to convince people that they want my thing, instead of allowing people to come to you and receiving the abundance. So some ways that you can adjust your energy, I started this and I got like four and was like, wow, they all start with A's. There's something cool here. So I don't know what it means. But the six A's are assess. So what are your thoughts and feelings around sales. So basically what we just did in the last exercise, appreciate. So this is something that's been really huge in my life, personally, that what we focus on, we create more of, and so when you are wanting, it could be anything like I wish my husband helped out more around the house. So when I focus on all the things he's not doing, he continues to not meet my expectations, and I continue to be frustrated and feel alone and unsupported. But when I started just saying like alright, you know, I'm just going to try this as an experiment. Every time he does anything like it could be like, Oh my God, you put your plate in the dishwasher that is so I appreciate that so much. I'm just going to appreciate the shit out of it and See what happens. And the worst that could happen is I'm in the same spot that I'm already in. So I might as well try it. And this example is true in my life. But there's lots of other appreciation examples in my life where I've tried this. And it's like holy cow. I literally just by talent debt by thanking somebody for something, I got more of what I wanted. So if you're ever coming from that, like lack place, or you want, you know, things to be different, you feel like you're focusing on what you what you don't have, try switching it around to appreciation, which I think is a little different than gratitude, and see what happens. The next one is except, so what we resist persists. And there's other things like you got to feel it to heal it and all of the stuff that we just talked about in the last lesson to about allowing ourselves to really feel what we feel and not trying to immediately change it. And I think part of this is detaching from the outcome. So like, I'm going to do this thing, no matter what happens, and unaffected by what happens. It's pointless, like not it's pointless to do it. But like it doesn't, it doesn't have any meaning whatever happens, I also think releasing expectations is huge here. And that could be like, maybe you have the expectations that you're going to launch your course. And you also have a full time job. And so your expectations that you're going to launch it and get everything ready and have hundreds of clients in the first month inside the incubator is probably not going to happen. And then you're going to feel really frustrated, and quote unquote, behind or whatever negative emotion you're going to feel from not meeting your expectations. So I think creating realistic expectations, and also just releasing any expectations of like, I'm just here, I have everything that I need. And it's going to work out. I think that also allows you to really get into flow. And when you're in that more flowy energy, I feel like things just start flowing to you. And trusting in the divine timing of things. So sometimes things don't happen when we wanted them to happen. And then later, we look back and it's like, oh my god. I mean, how many times like house hunting, for example. I know, we have several people that just did that. And they feel like I wanted that house so bad, and I didn't get it. And then when you find your right house and you trust in that divine timing, you're like, Thank God, I didn't get that other house. I never would have been happy there. Yeah, Katie, you can feel that. So trusting in that divine timing, things are happening exactly when they're supposed to. Hey, have you ever considered using your interviews on other podcasts as core content for your own marketing strategy, and her podcast go pit yourself my friend Angie Trueblood shares about how this unique strategy can help you create a cohesive, simple content marketing plan for your business. I love Angie's podcast. And this episode talks about what pillar content is and gives practical tips on how to actually start using your interviews to create marketing content for yourself. Plus, she offers tips on how to utilize the power of partnership with podcast hosts to help content reach further, if this sounds good to you, I highly recommend you head over to the go pitch yourself podcast episode number 84 titled podcast interviews as pillar content and give it a listen.
Coming into abundance, so what would I do if I already had 100 clients? And again, kind of telling yourself like I have exactly what I need in this moment. And there are times that I've looked back like on the incubator, even where I thought, Oh, my God, I like this is growing so slowly, or I wish I had more sales or I don't, you know, I don't have what I need. And then I thought like in the future than looking back. It's like, oh my gosh, I'm so glad I grew at that pace, because it allowed me to really grow my team and get my other ducks in a row and get the back end set up. And I wouldn't have been able to do that if I you know, had 100 clients right out of the gate. Okay, and then allowing again. So this is kind of like allowing people to come to you. So it doesn't mean like you don't do anything. It's not don't put yourself out there at all. But thinking about like an example of dentists, like do you see dentist all day posting on social media to get new patients into their office and doing a million blog posts and sending out emails and postcards and all the things like they just kind of say like I'm a dentist, I got a good practice and people who need dentistry will find me and they will come to me. And so how can we like embody some of that energy of just like, I know what I do is great. People will find me the right people are already on their way to me, and I don't have to force so much. So asking yourself to what would you believe about your So if people were reaching out regularly to you, so if you would believe that you are a world class coach, because people are reaching out to you regularly, can you believe that anyway and see what happens. And then the last one is attend. So really serving from a relational perspective rather than transactional. And I think this comes back to what we've been talking about a lot inside the incubator too, with partnerships and things like that, which is building a successful business is about building relationships. And so how can you create those safe spaces for your people to engage and to buy? And how can you just truly serve and provide value? So that's kind of getting into the energy of sales and putting yourself out there. And ultimately, it comes down to just getting comfortable being uncomfortable, which I've said a few times already, like, you have to be willing to risk failure. So think about how can you even have fun during this time? Like How could you even enjoy, quote, unquote, failure. So an example that comes to me is like, you know, when you hear bands being or like any kind of celebrity, right, they're like on a talk show, and they're reminiscing about, like the good old days of when they were like carrying their own equipment into the venues and performing at these small places. And it was just like, there was a romance to it, right? It was like, There's something really special about that those early days. And so the same is true for your business, like, you're going to look back on your business one day and miss the days where you didn't have 100 clients, and you didn't have a full team, and you know, all the things that you might have on your goal list. It's like the good old days, the early days in the beginning, there is value in here, and you may even prefer it in the long run. So how can you enjoy this exact moment that you're in right now? Anybody wants to share in the chat? I would love to hear what's coming up for you either with that question or with anything else that we've talked about today. And then we'll move into the actual how to make money.
Rachel Silves 22:08
I think Sabrina has a question about adjusting energy. So if you want to ask that, Sabrina, Oh, yes.
Sabrina 22:14
So this is really similar to what Brian and we're talking about in our breakout. But I am a very practical like step one, step two, step three kind of person and I love learning about energy and abundance and mindset and all the things, but I have a really hard time like putting it into practice, if that makes sense. Like, it's fascinating. And I love it. And I totally believe it. But then like building it into my everyday life is like there's a disconnect there. Yeah. And so I'm wondering if you have any tips for that, because I you know, I took notes on all the A's, and they're all beautiful, and I totally see how they're valuable. But like, in my day to day routine, like how do I do this? That makes any sense? Yeah.
Kate Kordsmeier 23:02
So let me ask you, how do you do this in your daily routine?
Sabrina 23:07
I mean, I journal in the morning, I meditate, I do all the things, but I still find myself doing the negative stuff like reading over this. I'm like, Yep, I could flip this. And I could flip this, and I could change the way I talked to myself. And so there's some sort of the only thing I can think of is like a disconnect with absorbing the change. Does that make sense? Or am I just totally sounding drums to
Kate Kordsmeier 23:34
know everything you're saying is making it relatable. But I also can see, like, what if that thinking is a thought error in itself. Like that is perfectionist thinking, like, I still have thought errors I still struggle with, you know, being more in my masculine or, you know, not allowing as much or, or whatever. And so, if there's anything less than perfection, then I'm not doing it right. Or then it's not working.
Sabrina 24:03
Yeah, totally. And then I also think, like, as you were saying that I was, you know, allowing versus forcing receiving versus convincing. I feel like there's so many elements to all of those things, you know, as as parents as wives, as community members, as business owners, as creatives as students, and so maybe struggling with like, there's so much of it, and instead of trying to focus on all of it, maybe I just need to pick a lane and like focus on that for a little bit, and then move into something else. I don't know. I'm all ears for anything anybody has to say on
Kate Kordsmeier 24:40
this. Well, anybody feel free to chime in, but I feel like I know you know the answer to this within you and that you may be doing a lot of these things like journaling and meditating like are you catching yourself more in the moment when you're having a thought error or you're having just a thought about something like, are you even pausing long enough to realize, oh, this is what I'm thinking about this thing. And I think it is a practice. And so to think that like, Oh, I've learned this thing. And maybe this isn't the first time you've heard a lot of this stuff. But you know, I've heard this a bunch, and I'm still doing it like, right. And, right. Yeah,
Sabrina 25:24
I feel like I'm really good at naming these things in a reflective kind of way. You know, when I'm journaling, when I'm intentionally taking time out to pause or meditate or whatever. But in the moment to moment of our full days, there is no thinking through, there is no, there is no pause.
Kate Kordsmeier 25:44
So what is one way you could build in more pause to your day?
Sabrina 25:49
Yeah, that's a good question. I'm, like, scheduling it, which is dumb, but like, I do all of my reflective meditation, self care first thing in the morning before my day starts. And then I hit the ground running. And I don't stop again until the next day when I have my quiet space. Right? You know,
Kate Kordsmeier 26:13
so can I offer a suggestion? I'd love it. What if you set a timer to go off whatever frequency makes sense? Once an hour, once a day? And it's not like scheduled time per se, but it's just like that reminder that goes, Oh, just pause right now, what am I thinking? And like all you're doing, you don't even have to write it down. It doesn't have to be this big like, Okay, I gotta take a 10 minute break from whatever I'm doing. It can just be like, it's just a trigger, to start to get you into the habit of pausing to just notice your thoughts.
Sabrina 26:47
Yeah, that's a great suggestion. I'm gonna try it.
Kate Kordsmeier 26:50
Okay, report back. Okay, thanks. I'm gonna catch up in the chat. Make sure I didn't miss anything here. Rachel, am I missing anything?
Rachel Silves 26:58
Nope. Just a lot of good shares from people about what's resonating with them. So I don't know if you want to read a couple of them or not. Yeah. Okay.
Kate Kordsmeier 27:05
Good. putting myself in the mindset of how would I show up if I were regularly making sales and shifting what I would believe about myself? Bronte said, Yes. Beautiful. Katie. So my friend has a great metaphor for obstacles or difficulties that makes it so fun. She says, when something is difficult, it's the universe handing you a magic being on a silver platter that's about to blast you off to the next level of who you are. Oh, I love that. That's amazing. I like that better. I've heard like, it's the universe testing you like, do you really want this? But I don't think the universe is like manipulative like that. So I like the idea of thinking of it more like, this is a magic bean. And here. I'm at it. Let's do it. Right. I love I don't know, it's like a very fun and like friendly metaphor. So I feel like it. Yes. Yeah, it's great. Yeah, yeah. And Shelly echoing what Sabrina was saying, like taking baby steps. And isn't the kind of thing like, you know, what Rachel said to in the previous session, like, you don't learn this even 100 times and then you just never have a thought error again, or you never get caught up and things or have your feelings dictating your results in a negative way. I think it is just something that is always going to be a lifelong practice. And almost like accepting that is part of getting into like allowing mode and adjusting your energy accepting that like, this is what it is, and it's okay. Natalie says I learned something very helpful recently. Write down what you want. Write down the emotion that comes up if you were to get the thing, and each day tap into the positive emotion of the outcome, even if it hasn't happened yet. Oh, that's good. Love it.
