is the only way you’ll bust through your upper limits and become the entrepreneur you’ve always dreamed about.
In today’s episode, we’re debunking common myths and limiting beliefs when it comes to blogging (or any online business) and how to actually make those important mindset shifts so you can rewrite what’s possible for yourself and actually create sustainable change.
Most of what we think are just BELIEFS, NOT TRUTHS.
Our minds have a tape player inside them, repeating the same thoughts again and again, day in and day out. The research proves this to be true:
These studies make it pretty clear that if you (like most people) are doing the same things every day, thinking the same thoughts, and talking to the same people–your life is likely going to look and feel pretty much the same day-to-day (and unfortunately, a lot of it is negative).
You may have dreams, hopes, and aspirations for what you want in your life, but if you’re not intentionally trying to grow and change and step into something new, then it’s highly unlikely anything is going to look different.
The good news?
Wayne Dyer said,
With the mindset shifts and limiting beliefs we’re addressing in today’s show, I know that you’ll be able to get out of your own way and make the changes necessary to step into your dreams and kick your old beliefs to the curb.
Before we dive into this episode, I first want you to take a few moments to write down your answers to these questions:
1) What are all the reasons you think you can’t start a successful blog or business?
Get really honest with yourself here. We can’t change what we don’t first acknowledge.
2) What would your life look like if you let go of all those negative thoughts, fears, and negative beliefs?
Really think about this. Your life can look entirely different if you want it to. What kinds of things do you do during your day? How do you think? How do you feel? What kinds of things do you say to yourself and to others?
Are you ready to make some mindset shifts and start creating your new reality?

Hello, my love's it is episode nine of the Success with Soul podcast. Welcome back. I am your host, Kate Kordsmeier. Over the last couple of weeks, months, how long has it been? I guess a couple months now and Time Is Flying. We've been talking a lot about creating a successful business specifically, we've mentioned blogging a lot how you can earn a full time income from blogging. And a lot of people still aren't so sure they're not convinced I still hear from tons of readers and listeners and students even every single week saying they're just not sure they have what it takes to be successful. And I want to address this so in today's episode, it is a solo episode just with yours truly. And I want to talk today I want to debunk some common myths and limiting beliefs when it comes to blogging so that you can bust through your limitations. Rewrite what's possible and create sustainable change by following your dreams. So I think that oftentimes what holds us back the most is ourselves. And that's hard to hear because it's so much easier to say, No, no, you don't understand. I don't have enough time, Kate, I just can't afford it. I don't know how to fill in the blank. It's a lot easier to blame more like the time not yourself. You can say, No, no blogging is dead, or it's just a fad. It's oversaturated, whatever it might be. But honestly, all of these are just thoughts, limiting beliefs. It's our brains protecting us from potential failure from getting out of our comfort zone. But as one of my favorite quotes goes, don't believe Everything you think. So in today's episode, I want to bust through some of the most common limiting beliefs that I hear when it comes to starting a blog. And let's just dive right in. Let's get started. You're listening to the Success with Soul podcast with Kate Kordsmeier x journalists turned CEO of a multi six figure blog in online business. But it wasn't that long ago that Kate was a struggling entrepreneur who lacked confidence, clarity, and let's be honest money. But all those failures, experiments and lessons learned helped Kate create a thriving business that impacts thousands and brings freedom, flexibility and fulfillment to her life. If you're ready to do the same and make something happen with holistic, soulful, step by step strategies from Kate and other experts, you're in the right place. here's your host, writer, educator, mom recovering perfectionist, bookworm and sushi connoisseur Kate Kordsmeier. Before we jump into today's episode, I'd love to share a listener spotlight with you. This one comes from creative life who says this is amazing stuff, just starting my own business and came across Kate's podcast, how to create a soulful business without the hustle. I've spent the last two years really doing the soul work and within a few weeks, the hustling had me burning out. This is just what I needed to get my center again. great inspiration and advice. My overachiever sat back down and my energized flow took over. You can have a soulful life and in business too. Don't miss this. It rocks. Oh my goodness, thank you so much created life. on a listener spotlight soon.
So I want to start the episode off today with some real talk. This is some behind the scenes of my own business because when I first started blogging, I used to be embarrassed to claim the title out loud. Like if I was at a dinner party or friend's house or a networking event and someone asked me Hey, what do you do? I would stutter I felt embarrassed. I felt ashamed. I felt like people I already had these preconceived notions and ideas of what they thought bloggers do, what they make, how they contribute, I think in particular, as a woman, and as a mother, a lot of times I could see people thinking, Oh, you're a stay at home mom. And there's nothing wrong with that. But that wasn't what I did. But I still felt all of this shame. And I thought about it so many times. And especially at the time, I thought, why am I so weird about this? And I realized that it was because at the time, I had no idea what I was doing, and I was struggling hard. So I had all of these negative thoughts going on in my head. Can I actually do this? Is there really even any money in this whole blogging thing? Maybe I'm just throwing my time and money down the drain and my pride right along with it. I mean, what if I fail? What if I crash and burn all over? Working my butt off, or even lose my soul in the process. So if any of this sounds familiar, you'll know what I mean when I say that I just felt kind of trapped. Like I wouldn't be able to actually replace my income and quit my frustrating journalism career and just create the life I truly wanted. But the good news is that then things started to change. So I was studying all the existing professional bloggers and successful online entrepreneurs that I could find to discover, like what worked for them? Well, of course, putting my own spin on those systems and tools based on what I'd learned from my freelance writing career, and from journalism school and just from my own trial and error with with route and rebel, my blog, and I was constantly conducting these trial and error experiments, just seeing what worked What didn't what was worth my time, what was a waste, and with these powerful points processes, I was able to grow my blog in one, I'll admit that at the time felt painfully slow. Oh my gosh, so slow, but in retrospect was insanely fast. And in fact, my blog was so successful that I replaced my full time job income, earning $75,000 in my second year, and then $150,000 in my third year, and all the while I was working less, I was directly helping people live a more natural, healthy and happy life. And now looking back, I'm just so amazed and grateful and humbled by the whole experience. I mean, some days I still can't believe this is my reality, that I can run my business around my life and my schedule. I mean, in 2018, I was able to take four months off from maternity leave when I had my first child and still earned it. $58,000 during that time away with my first son, you know what an incredible gift. As you're listening to this episode now I'm on maternity leave again, I'm of course recording it in advance. I have a few weeks left to go in this my second pregnancy. But knowing that I have a business that can run without me that I don't have to personally show up for an order to make money is one of the most amazing feelings in the world. And I've never had a career like this before, even as a freelance writer, and I've mentioned this on the previous episode where people would always tell me, oh my gosh, you know, it's so great that you're a freelancer because when you decide to have kids, then you can just stay home with them. And I always found that to be incredibly condescending, but also just untrue. My journalism career required me To be out on the ground reporting sometimes out of the country more often just at restaurants and in my community. And writing is one of those jobs that requires a lot of brainpower, right? You need a lot of concentration and focus to write something worthy of being published. So I should try to do that while I'm home with kids is like, okay, yeah, that's that was not going to happen. And regardless of all of that, it was something where if I wasn't working, if I wasn't turning in freelance assignments, then I was not making money. So if I wanted to take a month off, yeah, it's true, I could do that. But I would earn zero dollars. And now with my blog, I can take three, four months off, and honestly make the same as if I was working every day. So that's why I created the six figure blog Academy, my digital course because I don't want to keep this Knowledge inside any longer. I just want others who have this stream to feel the same freedom and flexibility and just pure joy that I feel from running my own business. And that is both with my blog route and rebel and now with the six figure blog Academy and this podcast, and I mean the sky's the limit, there's always new things that I can tackle new challenges to overcome, which is honestly one of my favorite parts of this. I love learning new skills. It all just brings me so much joy and connecting with people like you is one of the greatest gifts I've ever known. So I just want you to know too, that you are unstoppable and you can make a reliable authentic living from blogging. So the six figure blogger Academy is designed to show you how to make a full time income blogging about what you love while staying authentic and making a positive impact in people's lives. And my system will give you the time flexibility and independence to enjoy your dream life. But you have to want it and you have to believe that you can do it. And that's where these limiting beliefs come in. So today I want to debunk some of these common myths and limiting beliefs that a lot of us have when it comes to blogging or really any entrepreneurial venture. Because after all, mindset is always number one when it comes to trying something new, and creating sustainable change.

So, in case you're like, wait, what is all this limiting belief stuff? Anyway, you may have never heard this expression before. Let me start with just a very brief introduction. Allison Fallon, who is the founder of find your voice and she's a best selling author and a coach and she has a great post about limiting beliefs on her site. And I want to just quote something from it real quick about limiting beliefs. So Allison says, a limiting belief is something you believe to be true about yourself or about others or about the world that limits you in some way. way. So these beliefs may hold you back from taking chances. They may keep you blind to opportunities in your path. They may prevent you from accepting gifts that are offered to you, or simply keep you stuck focusing on the negative aspect of your circumstances. The challenge with limiting beliefs is most of us don't think we have them. And they can be really hard to spot. So where do these limiting beliefs come from? Well, they're formed through what we're taught as a child by our families, our friends, our schools, or churches, political climates, and just the culture and world at large. So some of them are super widespread throughout our society. Like one example might be that you have to work super hard and sacrifice everything in order to make good money. Or like life isn't fair. Some of them are more personal in our own heads like whoa, I'm not smart or pretty enough. I'm not interesting enough for my sibling is always smarter and more successful than me. Or I'm just not the kind of person that would be good at XYZ. So even though there are a variety of limiting beliefs we may have about ourselves. Most of them are actually about something deeper, and they come back to the same root belief, like, we're not good enough, we're going to fail because we don't have what it takes, or we aren't worthy of happiness and love. Now, I want you to take a moment to think about something that's been holding you back. Maybe it's that you don't believe making a full time income blogging as possible, or that there's too much competition that the market is already too saturated. And why would anybody care what you have to say You're too late anyway. Or that you simply don't have the time or the money or the resources or the know how to really get going with this. I want you to take a moment and write down All of the reasons you think you can't start a successful blog and be brutally honest with yourself, why isn't this possible for you? It can be really powerful to get clarity on all of the things we tell ourselves. Now, notice I'm saying the things we tell ourselves. We all have our own stories in our head. And very often those stories we tell ourselves are very different from our reality. So maybe you feel like there's no way you could ever understand the tech behind setting up a website. Maybe you feel like, you're too busy. You don't have time for this. You're already juggling a million things. Maybe you've even tried to start a blog before or you're you've been blogging maybe for a couple months, maybe for a couple years, and it just didn't work out. So you must be bad at this. Maybe you feel like you aren't a good enough writer. Now I know. It's not fun. Thank you. about these things, but it is really important because first, we have to acknowledge these beliefs, because we can't change what we aren't aware of right? So we have to acknowledge that we even have these thoughts. And then we can decide what we want to believe instead, and take action on them until they replace our old beliefs. So again, remember, this is so important. Don't believe everything you think your brain is going to try and trick you. Because you have everything you need to be successful. And when you start to think these thoughts, I want you to try to catch yourself in them. They are thoughts, they are not the truth. Remember that. And remember that no matter where you are in your life or your career, everyone and I mean everyone still deals with doubt and fear. Even after having a six figure month in my business, I still wonder if I should just throw in the towel. I still question whether or not I'm really good at this, or I have what it takes or this is, you know, everybody is dealing with the same thing, you're never going to get to a place where you say, That's it, I'm never going to be scared of anything again. Now, of course, we can get to a place where we can better deal with those fears and where we can recognize that they are just fears and not reality. But everybody is going to have doubts and fears at some point in time, no matter how successful they are. So if you let those doubts and fears hold you back from actually trying, then you'll never try because there's never going to be a time in your life where you don't have a little bit of fear.
Okay, so with that out of the way Now I want you to think about what your life would look like if you let go of all those negative thoughts, fears and limiting beliefs. I want you to picture it for a minute and think about the ultimate version of your life, whatever that is. Maybe you travel once a month or work less so you can spend more time with your family. Maybe you make enough money that you can buy your dream house, I mean, your life can look however you want. But think about it. And then ask yourself, if this were my life, how would I show up? How would my day look? How would my year look? And most importantly, how would I feel? How would I behave? What are the things that I would do, and then commit to that version of you that you just imagined, there are going to be steps along the way where you're going to feel confused or doubt yourself or feel like you just can't do it. But I want you to honor your best self, that person that you Just imagine who has made more money has more freedom and spends every day doing what they love, and then commit to that version of yourself and commit to not giving up. It's okay to not know everything to not have it all figured out. That's exactly how all of us start. So let's dive into some specific common limiting beliefs so you can turn them around and actually start believing these empowered truths. Okay, so blogging, limiting belief, number one. This is probably the most common one that I hear. I don't have enough time. I'm too busy. So I get it. My goal on this podcast is to provide you with actionable information that you can implement right away, not fluff that sends you in a million different directions. But I got to just stop and say with this one, let's stop glory. terrifying and perpetuating the unjust so busy all the time belief. We are all busy, every single one of us could say I'm too busy. And that's often because we're not focusing on what really matters. And we end up wasting so much time every day on things that aren't really moving the needle or aren't aligned with our goals and priorities. So it's time to change that and focus on what will actually make an impact in your business and your life. So let's take this a step further. If you've had a dream to start a blog for a while, whether it's five days or five years, or you even already have a blog, but you've gotten stuck, think about all the time you will likely continue to waste if you don't take any action to do something different. Fast forward to six months from now. And you can continue to be right where you are still struggling, still frustrated. Still. stalled in your business? Or you can make a commitment now to make this a priority in your life. And what would that look like if this was a priority in your life? What would it look like? Would you give up 30 minutes a day on Instagram and instead put that into your blog? Could you carve out two hours on a weekend and focus? Really focus on doing something impactful for your blog? You can do this. Imagine where you can actually be in six months to a year from now, if you stopped telling yourself that you don't have time, and instead started scheduling non negotiable time where you make this a priority. So could you land your dream sponsor? If you did that? Could you earn an extra thousand dollars a month from your blog? Could you give up your part time job or maybe even your full time job to focus solely on your blog? Now I have to put in this little shameless plug Here too, because if you join the six figure blog Academy, or as much as I hate to say it, you hire some coach or join another program that will help you get there, you're actually going to save time because you're getting an actual system and process to accomplish your income and growth goals. Rather than just taking shots in the dark, figuring things out on your own, and wasting just a lot of time trying to figure it all out by yourself. Why not go to somebody who has already done what you want to do, and follow their lead? Because you can do this all on your own. But wouldn't it be so much easier if you had somebody to hold your hand through every step of the way? All right, that's my shameless plug there. Let's talk about blogging belief limiting belief number two. Now this one is maybe two tied for first because I hear it so much. I don't have the money I can afford it. Can you relate to this? If you are serious about wanting to grow your blog, and thus your income, even just part time, this is exactly why I recommend you investing some money into it. You need to treat it like a business. This is like saying, I want to open my own restaurant, but I'm not going to spend any money on ingredients. So let me get this straight. You're going to open a restaurant without food. Even if you're just a hobby blogger, I challenge you to show me one other hobby that exists. That doesn't require a dime for activities or materials. Now to be clear, hear me out. Everyone has a different financial situation and I would never recommend you take on serious debt or spend money you're uncomfortable with but you If you try to start and grow a blog with zero investment, it is going to take you way longer to reach your income goals. And it's going to be so much more demanding on your energy. So smart investments are where it's at. Now, the other thing I want to kind of call us all out on here, because we all have things in our life that we want, and we say, Oh, I can't afford it. But I believe if we want something bad enough, we will find a way to get it. So whether that's picking up a few extra shifts to cover an expense, asking for it as a gift, maybe you start saving a little bit each week so you can afford it down the road. Maybe you cut back on some other expenses so that you can find more money in your own bank account. Just no matter what you do. When we want something like really want something We become super resourceful and always figure out a way to get it. This is just human nature. So first you have to decide is having a successful profitable blog, something you really want. And if it is, and you still are unsure of how you can afford to get started, this is where I want you to remember your why for blogging? Why did you start or why do you want to start your blog? What would your life look like if you had a successful blog and you could earn whatever dollar amount feels good to you per month from your blog? How would you feel if this was possible and you had more than enough money? What would you do if you knew you could not fail? So really take the time to think about what you want from your life. So try this Imagine if you had a flexible stick schedule and the freedom to work from anywhere, or you could financially contribute to your family, pay off your debt or travel the world. You could grow your blog from a passion project or hobby into a legit profitable full time career.
After you tune into that vision for a minute, I'm going to guess that intentionally spending some money to get started or grow to the next level with your blog now feels much more attainable. So you've got this, okay. I'd be shocked if you didn't make a return on a wise and thoughtful intentional business investment, if you actually put in the work. Now, I 100% understand the concern of not wanting to waste money. So that's why you need to learn what to spend money on and how to earn way more from your blog. So you have the money to both reinvest it. take home money in your pocket. So we actually have a blog post on Kate kordsmeier.com. All about what to invest in what not to how to outsource tasks to give you the freedom you seek and deserve. All that good stuff. I'm going to drop it into the show notes. So just make sure you go check that out, if you want to learn more about investing into your business. In the meantime, let's talk about blogging, limiting belief number three, this one, it comes down to people feeling like they're not good enough. They say something like, I don't know how to blank. So a lot of times I hear people say like, well Don't I have to be a professional writer or photographer or a chef or journalist, computer whiz tech junkie, I mean, you fill in the blank to be a successful blogger. And my answer is absolutely not just because I've been a professional writer doesn't mean you need to be as well. Just because another blogger you follow went to culinary school doesn't mean you have to be a trained chef in order to have a food blog. So you have your own unique set of gifts. And that is what is going to make you stand out from the crowd. Blogging is completely self taught. I mean, no one got a degree in how to be a blogger. Although, if you take my course it's about as close as anyone can get. But that's for another day. You do not need a master's in computer science or programming. If you just have basic computer skills. I'm talking like, you know how to navigate websites, use email, etc. You can create a blog and learn the rest as you go or outsource as you wish. I will also drop this in the show notes too. But we actually have a tech library full of video tutorials that literally walk you through step by step exactly what to do to get your blog set up. So if you're very intimidated About the tech, this is a great product for you to check out. And we've already heard from so many people that like it took away all of the stress and overwhelm of trying to learn the tech. But the point is, you can learn how to start and monetize a blog simply by being you and utilizing your own inherent skill sets and zones of genius. You are capable, you are resourceful and you are worthy enough just as you are right now, to achieve your dreams. You don't need fancy certifications or degrees. I mean, life is the best experience. If you are able to share a challenge that you've overcome in your own life or something that you've struggled with and have come out the other side or in the process of coming out the other side with that is it that's all you need. Sound good

Okay, blogging, limiting belief. Number four, nothing works.
I hear from people who have been blogging for a while and they'll say something like, well, I've been blogging forever and I don't make any money. So it must not be possible. And to that, I would say, I have to call on my good friend Einstein here. This quote is one of my favorites. He says, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So if you want to create the life of your dreams, and a profitable blog, but you've been stuck in the same spot, spinning your wheels, you need to do something different than what you've already been doing and stop the insanity. Nothing changes. If nothing changes. I'm all about quotes today. That is another one of my favorite ones. If you are doing the same things every day, thinking the same Thoughts talking to the same people, your life is likely going to look and feel pretty much the same day to day. But if you have dreams and hopes and aspirations for what you want your life to be. And if you're not intentionally trying to grow and change and step into something new, then it's highly unlikely anything is going to look different. So try acknowledging your beliefs around this topic. And then replacing those limiting beliefs with positive empowering ones to open up your energy. So for example, when you find yourself saying, nothing has worked for me, try replacing that with an mantra like when I'm open to new ideas and ways of seeing things, exciting possibilities, open up for me, right? How doesn't that feel so much better? Say that to yourself, every day, multiple times a day, write it on a post it stick it to your computer, frame it somewhere We're on your desk, read it every morning, whatever you need to do. When you find yourself saying, I can't do this anymore. reframe. try replacing that thought with something more empowering. Like, though this feels challenging. I trust that I'm supported and resourceful, and I can succeed. So it's all about turning your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. And I swear when you do this, you will watch your life start to rearrange. It really is quite magical. And there's a lot of resources out there to help you. If you're stuck. If you're like, I feel like I've tried everything and nothing has worked. Take a course. read a blog post. Read a book. listen to a podcast, try something new, right. Okay, blogging, limiting belief number five. Blogging is dead. It's just a fad. It's old news. Blogging is already too saturated. Why would anybody care what I have to think? Now, if this is one of your limiting beliefs, I highly recommend you go back to Episode Two, which is called is blogging dead nine reasons to start a blog today. So I don't want to be too repetitive here. But the main thing I want to remind you of is that you may have heard rumors from experts or other people that they say blogging is dead. And yeah, it's true. There are more blogs now than there were 10 years ago. And it's true that there are other ways to build your brand like social media or YouTube or podcasts. But it's also true that there are many of us making six figures from our blogs in 2020. myself being a case in point, and I did not start my blog until 2015. The End of 2015 way after blogging heyday, this means not dead. Blogging is not a fad. It's not old news. So the same advice I gave in that episode two, I'm going to repeat again here. Don't let the people who couldn't figure it out, make you believe that you can't either. Don't let them rain on your parade. If I can do it, so can you. And what's really cool is if you think of your blog, more like your home base, so it's something that you own you control, you can lead people back to again and again from countless other channels. You never have to worry about it disappearing tomorrow, or changing its algorithm. And unlike third party apps, your blog is your stake in the ground that represents who you are where your fans can always find you. So think about it from a perspective of if you had just an Instagram following what happens is Instagram gets replaced by the next fad social media app, tick tock, I don't know what who knows what it could be. They change their algorithm, etc. Or somebody wants to go find a post that you did six months ago with a recipe or with a quote, and it's really hard for them to just search back through your feed, people would much rather go to your blog and just be able to type in the search bar and find what they're looking for. Likewise, people can't find you from a Google search if all you have is a podcast without a website attached to it, or a YouTube channel without a website attached to it, or an Instagram account without a website attached to it. So your blog is like your home base. And we shared a lot of cool stats about how treating it this way, even if you have a different business will actually help that business more than if you did not have a blog coinciding with it. So the end of the day, people will always want a need helpful content that's filled with value and that is never going to change. That is why blogging still works. And then there's that one other mindset shift on the same topic that feels important to point out and that is around the limiting belief of why would anybody care what I have to say, especially when there are so many other blogs out there already right. So many influencers often see their peers as competition. I couldn't feel more opposite my peers or my friends there who I learned from I network with I share successes and challenges with I bounce ideas off of them. I meet with to vent about the after mentioned Instagram algorithm. You get the idea. I want to build each other up, not tear each other down. And I promise you the world is wide enough for all of us. There is room for everyone. Everyone, and that includes you. So remember, there is only one you and there's someone out there. There's lots of someone's out there who need to hear exactly what you have to say.

blogging, limiting belief number six, maybe you feel like you don't have the support, you need to do this. I have a lot of women in particular who say, my husband doesn't support this idea. My spouse doesn't think you can make money blogging. So I totally get that. If you're gonna invest money in something or even just your time, it's super important to feel like you have support from your friends and family. Especially when it comes to money. It's completely valid. If you need to talk to your spouse or your partner, before making a financial or time commitment. I get it. So I'm not trying to say who cares, ignore them. That said, this still comes back To you, and how you're communicating the information. So if you're excited and confident that energy is going to spill over to anyone you're talking to, and your spouse or your friends or your family will want to support you. But if you're wobbly, you're like, I don't know, I'm not really sure if I can do this, I don't really believe in the process or myself, it's really hard to get other people to believe in you, right, even if they truly want to. So for example, if you're going to spend money on a course and you need to get the buy in from your spouse, I would highlight the importance of learning from somebody who has gone before you and has had proven results. So you want to learn the cutting edge strategies and what's working now versus wasting time guessing on what you should or shouldn't do. And if you're gonna do this and commit, you want to do it right so you can fast track your success. So that might be a good way to get people on board with Investing some money into this business venture. But even if you're not looking to invest into something like a course you just want their support in terms of starting a blog. I'd also recommend communicating with them how important the stream is to you why you want it, and how much their support means to you. Because with their support, plus all the support that you get when you join something like a course with a community of other people going through the same experiences you you're gonna have the fuel you need to keep going when things get tough. So if you need proof that blogging works to show off to your support crew, check out our income reports on Kate Kordsmeier comm we have several years worth of income reports now. And it's like just living proof that this is actually a viable business. Right. So there's the support topic covered, right? Okay. vlogging limiting belief Number seven, you're not ready. I hear this a lot. I'm just not ready yet. And here's the truth. You will never feel 100% ready to do anything big in your life. This is really just an excuse we tell ourselves because we're scared to take the leap. So think about it. Is anyone ever hundred percent ready to have kids? Heck no, the world population would have died out eons ago if we were all waiting until we were 100%. Ready. And the same goes for your business, just a different kind of baby. You don't need to have 10,000 followers on Instagram. You don't need a bigger email list. You don't need anything to get started. Other than your own desire and commitment to yourself. Do not let the fear keep you playing small. Let me say that again. Don't let the fear keep you playing small. Yeah, it's scary. Scary. Here's how it may make you feel awkward. You may feel embarrassed, there will be challenges. And yes, we all feel this way at some point. But the thing is, you've just got to keep going. Because if you don't, you will never move past that fear and achieve any of your goals. Once again, I'm reminded of one of my favorite quotes. I'm not even sure who said it, but I've seen it all over the internet. It goes like this. Don't wait to show up until you're confident. You show up until you're confident, right? So don't wait to feel ready. It's never going to happen. You just have to start you just have to start taking action. And that is where confidence and clarity are going to come in.
